A logo and some secondary marks I designed for my friend’s band, Princess Problems. The music is catchy and slick, but the lyrics are more cutting and rough. I wanted something that reflected that dichotomy, so I tried various juxtapositions of type before heading towards hand drawn options, drawing elegant calligraphic forms with imprecise tools. The final version is lettering I drew with my non-dominant hand.
