Drexel Brands
Drexel University
Design
A selection of logos for various events and initiatives at Drexel University. In these marks I use our two typefaces and (in most cases) a limited color palette in varying ways to keep these brands all clearly “Drexel” while still being distinct from one another and appropriate for the specific audience. These logos are utilized and adapted across a multitude of materials including small print pieces, signage, social media, banners, and displays.
Dragons Taking Care of Dragons - Our Covid initiative stressing that when we take care of each other we receive care from our community.
Pittman Ceremony - An event honoring the achievements of Black graduates, named for Drexel's first Black alumni.
The Ball - A "prom" for our LGBTQ+ students.
Drag Show - A showcase of student, local, and nationally known drag talent.
Student Life Impact Awards - Students are nominated by the Drexel community for their work outside the classroom. This is a sister even to the Scholarship awards, as reflected by their related but not identical logos.
Student Life Scholarship Awards - Students are awarded based on their academic achievements. This is a sister even to the Impact awards, as reflected by their related but not identical logos.
Stop and Call: Responsible Dragon Amnesty Policy - A program at Drexel wherein students are encouraged to report incidents of alcohol and/or drug overdose to campus police without fear of conduct-related consequences.
STEM Conference for Young Women - An opportunity for high school-aged women interested in careers in STEM to make connections and learn more about their education and career options.
